A Christmas Carol

Chapterhouse Theatre Company returns with their acclaimed adaptation of Charles Dickens’ timeless tale of hope and redemption.

Follow the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge as he embarks upon a journey through his past, present, and future, learning along the way to appreciate the true meaning of Christmas.

With dazzling musical sequences and authentic period costuming, this production promises to be the perfect accompaniment to the festive season.

Join family and friends at the most magical time of the year and be swept back in time nearly two centuries to the world of Scrooge’s London.

Cbeebies and CBBC superstar, Evie Pickerill, will bring her sparkle and flair as Spirit of the Ring!

York favourite, Robin Simpson (Dame Trott in Jack and the Beanstalk, Mrs Smee in All New Adventures of Peter Pan and Manky in Cinderella) will be returning for another sensational show.

Paul Hawkyard (Captain Hook in All New Adventures of Peter Pan and Mardy in Cinderella) will be back for his third pantomime at YTR as the villainous Ivan Tobebooed!

Sario Soloman (Let It Shine, Grease) stars as the titular hero in his York debut, alongside the sensational Emily Tang and the hilarious Tommy Carmichael.

Once again our panto will be written by Paul Hendy and directed by Juliet Forster – the same fantastic team who brought you the GIANT Jack and the Beanstalk. With lavish sets, joyous comedy and spellbinding special effects, Aladdin promises to be our most magical pantomime ever!
